About ID Riva Tours
A tour operator specialising in Croatia, I.D. Riva Tours was founded in 1994 in Munich. In the same year I.D.Riva Tours founded the twin company in Rotterdam, Holland. Since that time Croatia, after military operations in the region, was thought to be an insecure country and there was a loss of interest in tourism. Consequently some of the large tour operators who were specialists for destinations in this country disappeared from the tour market. Even though the situation wasn't very favorable, two friends, both professionals in the travel business, took the decision to demonstrate to ex-clients, as well as new ones, that Croatia was still a first class country, that it was safe and also full of beauty. As a result, in 1995, the first guests came from Germany and Holland, spending their holidays in Croatia, thanks to I.D. Riva Tours.
The number of clients grew from year to year, continually being surveyed in order to improve the quality of the service. In 1988 it was decided to open a new specialised office in Croatia with its Headquarters in Porec, Istria, with the mission to organize a network of representatives who would take care of service to clients in the region of Istria and the Kvarner Bay area. In the same year an office was opened in Trogir, Dalmatia and over the next 4 years the number of clients continuosly increased in the region, A further office was opened in Zadar, which is now responsible for the region of Northern Dalmatia.
Today these 3 offices have more than 70 representatives and employees, building a tourism network which assures that our clients receive high quality service, thus guaranteeing a holiday ensuring relaxation and tranquility.
