Price Display and Calculation


On the page of each accommodation (hotel, apartment, mobile home, vacation rental, motorized sailing boat), you will find a table with prices and availability. Prices and availability are shown for nine subsequent days, depending on your selected check-in date. Clicking on the green arrows left and right of the dates will let you scroll forth and back for three days each.

Empty fields in the table indicate that the selected accommodation is not anymore available, or that the specific day is not possible for check-in. Prices in the fields indicate that this accommodation is still available for the specific day of arrival. For these prices, the following applies:

  • Prices per person (p.p.p.) for hotels, guesthouses, rooms in private accommodation, and cruises.

  • Prices per unit (p.p.u.) for apartments, mobile homes, and vacation rentals.

  • The prices shown do not consider children's reductions or discounts for a possible third adult in a double or twin room.

  • Possible early bird discounts, pay 6 – stay 7, or discounts for certain periods are already considered.

  • The prices refer to your selected duration. If you did not select a duration, the default is 7 nights.

To get the exact calculation considering the number of participants, accompanying children, and possible additional discounts, please click on one of the prices in the table. A new browser tab or window with our booking screen will open. Now, you are connected online with our reservation system.

  • On the now appearing page, you can select or edit the follwing data: check-in and check-out, number of participants (adults respectively children with their date of birth), kind and number of the desired accommodation units.

  • Please click now on "Proceed to calculation" at the bottom right. A new page will appear.

  • Here, you will get the detailed calculation with every single item (discounts, surcharges, etc.).

  • If you opened this page to get the exact calculation only, but do not want to book this accommodation, just click on "Close window and go back to overview" at the upper right.

  • The browser tab or window will close now, and you will be returned to the page of the accommodation you had selected before. Now, you can proceed with your search, and watch other accommodations.


  • Online Booking


    If the selected accommodation, the price, and the check-in date meet your desire, you can book it online immediately, without leaving this page as described in the previous step.

    Please fill in all fields marked with *, in detail:

    • Customer's name, postal address, e-mail address, and phone number

    • The names of all participants, for accompanying childern their day of birth as well

    • Possible remarks or custom requests. We kindly ask for your understanding that custom requests cannot be confirmed. Such requests will be proceeded to the hotel company (accommodation provider), and treated as non-binding customer preferences.

    • The desired payment method, either invoice or credit card. Please note that for bookings from 7 days prior to check-in the payment method is credit card only.

    • If credit card is the selected payment method, the appropriate credit card data.

    • Please confirm that you have acknowledged the General Terms & Conditions.

    • Please click on "Proceed to overview" at the bottom right.

    • Please check all submitted details, especially the correct spelling of all participants' names according to their identy cards/passports.

    • If you want to make changes, please click on "Change Client's data" in the header area of the page.

    • If all data is correct, please click on "Make the binding booking now" at the bottom right.

    Confirmation/Invoice


    A confirmation of your order, containing the booking number, is being sent to your e-mail address within the next few minutes. If you have any questions regarding your booking, please refer to your booking number. You will receive the detailed confirmation/invoice, including the insolvency insurance policy according to Article 651 k section 3 BGB, by e-mail the next workday at the latest.

    Payment


    Upon receipt of our confirmation/invoice, including the insolvency insurance policy, an advance payment of 15 percent of the total price has to be made. The final payment is due 21 days prior to departure. For bookings from 21 days prior to departure, the total price has to been paid immediately upon receipt of our confirmation/invoice, including the insolvency insurance policy.

    • If you have selected "invoice" as payment method, please transfer the advance payment to our banking account stated in the confirmation/invoice. Please transfer the final payment 21 days prior to departure. You will not receive a reminder for the final payment.

    • If you have selected "credit card" as payment method, we will debit your credit card with the advance payment immediately after sending our confirmation/invoice, including the insolvency insurance policy, by e-mail. The final payment will be debited automatically 21 days prior to departure. For bookings from 21 days prior to departure, your credit card will debited with the total price immediately after sending our confirmation/invoice, including the insolvency insurance policy.

    • For bookings from 7 days prior to check-in the payment method is credit card only.

    • With payment method "invoice" and booking from 10 days prior to departure, we kindly ask you to send us the bank transfer confirmation to documents@idriva.com.

    • After completing your booking, a change of the payment method is not possible.


    Travel Documents


    About three weeks prior to departure – but after payment of the total price only – we will send you the travel documents (voucher) by mail.

    • For short-term bookings – if it will be obvious that you will not receive the travel documents by mail on time – we will send the travel documents by e-mail.

    • In case that you unexpectedly did not receive the travel documents until the day prior to departure, we kindly ask you to call us immediately at +49.89.23.11.000, to be able to send the travel documents by e-mail.


    Security of your Personal Data


    When entering the booking screen (see "Online Booking"), your data will be SSL encrypted. This will be indicated by the URL in your browser's address bar starting with "https", as well as by the lock icon. I.D. Riva Tours uses SSL certificates by THAWTE, a subsidiary of SYMANTEC. This security covers your entire personal data, including credit card details.

    Requests


    Sometimes, the selected accommodation is not anymore available within our contracted allotment. However, we have the possibility to send a request in your name to the hotel company (accommodation provider). This means that we will request an additional room or apartment at the same conditions as stated on our website. Usually, this request will be processed within up to 3 working days. Such a booking request is always binding, and in case of confirmation of our request, your binding booking will be confirmed as well. If you like us to process this request in your name, please mark the field "Please process a binding booking request".

    Booking by Phone


    Of course, you can book your accommodation or trip with I.D. Riva Tours by phone as well. You will reach our Customer Service Team at +49.89.23.11.000. With making your booking by phone, we will need the same details as stated above ("Online Booking").

    The subsequent pocedure (payment and receiving the travel documents) is the same as with bookings made online.
