MEDULIN
The holiday venue of Medulin is at the extreme south western coast of Istria and is one of the 20 best-known bathing resorts on the Adriatic. Medulin developed from an agricultural and fishing village to one of the most important holiday resorts in southern Istria. The coast is flat, sandy and fissured. The magnificent vegetation and the mild climate, like the archipelago with its 10 islands, and a coastal phenomenon called "Primosten" or "Tombolo", makes Medulin an attractive and irresistible place.Tourism has been developed since the end of XIX century and Medulin was first placed into the Pula travel guide as a potential holiday location around the year 1889. The first regular customers came to Medulin at the same time as the establishment of the community in the year 1909. It has been appreciated above all for its uncontaminated nature and its healthy atmosphere. Every guest can find here an oasis of tranquillity in the pleasant and healthy atmosphere of the Adriatic Sea, one which is calm but at the same time has the dynamics for a lively vacation. The bay of Medulin is ideal for all kinds of water sports activities and outside of the water Medulin offers various activities for free time. The winter climate is very pleasant and mild. Medulin is a perfect location for athletic preparation by groups coming not just from Croatia, but from the entire world.
