Once a small fisherman’s village, now a well known tourist resort situated on the north-western coast of the island of Krk, not far from Malinska. The place has a typical slow life rhythm. Njivice is a small village with lovely Mediterranean vegetation and lovely pebble beaches, ideal for relaxing sunbathing. It is the ideal place for a quiet and relaxing vacation. In the village can be found restaurants, such as the famous “Blue Terrace”, famous for its live music in the evening, as well as the typical tavern in which it is possible to taste the local dishes such as ham and sheep’s cheese. All this can be tasted accompanied by the excellent local white wine – Vrbničaka žlahtina.
