Primošten
Primošten is a picturesque town situated some 30 km south of Šibenik. It has been constructed on a small island which was connected with the mainland five centuries ago. The connection was constructed to allow the inhabitants of Primošten to reach the fields and the vineyards on the mainland. Primošten is a jewel of nature, surrounded by 7 beautiful islands.
Originally Primošten was a fisherman’s village, but nowadays it is an important tourist resort. Especially abundant are the facilities for sports: tennis, table tennis, volleyball, sailing, water sports, sailing and scuba diving courses. In the 50 restaurants it is possible to taste the local specialities together with excellent Croatian wines.
