PETRCANE
The pictorial fishing village of Petrcane, where restaurants, taverns and Konobas specialise in fresh fish and local culinary specialities, is about 10 km north of Zadar, the cultural and historical centre of northern Dalmatia. Houses in this town are partially built in the Mediterranean style, surrounded by Pine tries and beaches. The city beach is situated on an encircled wooded peninsula full of rocks and other gravel beaches. This is surely the ideal place for family vacations.
Excursions available: to the national Parks of the Kornati islands, the waterfalls of the Krka river, Paklenica, Plitvice lakes, to the nature parks of Telascica and the Vrana lake, to the sandy beaches of Nin, the island of Pag , the cultural centres of Zadar, Pag , Sibenik, Split and Trogir.
