This wellloved holiday resort of northern Dalmatia is situated in a large bay, protected from the wind and waves. The typically Dalmatian style twostory attached houses are home to 593 apartments, which are located in a 100 acre pinetree forest. For the summer season of 2006 all the apartments were completely renovated, and some have been awarded the 4 star classification.
Facilities: in the “Kalelarga” - the pedestrian zone- you can find restaurants with terraces, pizzeria, icecream parlour, supermarket, tavern, aperitif bar, coffee bar, boutiques, hairdressing salon, first aid station, and various shops with magazines and souvenirs. At the beach you can find the amusement centre, featuring dance music and animation. Discobar “Saturnus” is located on the edge of the resort (only open at weekends outside the summer season). Animation is offered during the high season in the mini (4-12 years) and teen (13-19 years) clubs, daily and evening animation for adults also. A large swimming complex incl. large pool (970m², 140cm deep, heated) with massageshowers and jetsystem, small pool (340m², 30cm deep, heated) with watereffects. Snack bar, coffee bar, sunbathing chairs & parasols for rent, children’s playground, mud playground. Sheltered parking spaces outside as well as on the edge of the resort.
3-room site caravan for 5-6 persons (Zaton): comfortably furnished incl. 1 two-person bedroom with a double bed (140x190cm), one bedroom with 3 single beds, air-conditioning, living room, kitchenette, dining area (the bench in the dining corner can be turned into an extra sleeping place for 1 person), microwave, satellite TV, shower/toilet, terrace with sitting area.
Attention: a bond of 100 euros must be paid upon arrival, bed linen (1 set per bed per week), hand towels (changed 2xweek), electricity, gas, water included. Registration costs of 1 euro per stay and tourist tax must be paid upon arrival. Final clean-up is not included, you can choose to do it yourselves or pay 30 euros.
Services: accommodation only, half board with breakfast and dinner buffet at surcharge.
Sports: 12 clay tennis courts (4 of which are lit), tennis school, horse riding centre with a riding school (incl. ponies), beach volleyball, table tennis, bocce (local variety of lawn bowling), miniature golf, windsurfing, waterskiing, parasailing, banana boats, fun tubes, jetski, diving school, motor boat rental, pedal boats and bicycles. Jogging path, aerobics, swimming training for children, football and handball.
Beach: the 1,500m long pebble beach - with a largely sandy seabed and only slightly sloping, which makes it ideal for children - is located approx.50 to 300m from the apartments, depending on the exact position of the apartment. Incl. sunbathing chairs & parasols for rent, a snackbar and a large water slide (entrance fee).
Pets: up to approx. 7 kg weight allowed at surcharge (dependant on the season approx. 6-11 Euros per day).
