Hotel Fortuna

Surrounded by hundred- year old pine trees, wellkept lawns and flowerbeds, this comfortable hotel is situated on the carfree island of St. Nikola, approx. 300m from the lovely city centre and harbour of Poreč. The island is well connected to the city, and can be reached by boat within 5 min. A regular boat connection operates between 07.00 and 24.00 (01.07 to 30.09 until 01.00am), every 30 min and free of charge for guests of the hotel. Poreč harbour is host to frequent openair entertainment during the busy summer months.

Facilities: a la carte, buffet and grill restaurant, coffee bar with large terrace, pizzeria, aperitif bar, newspaper stand, souvenirs and cosmetic products, freshwater swimming pool with separate children’s pool, large sun terrace, sunbathing chairs and parasols (free of charge, limited availability). Animation for children, dance music is played on the terrace in the evenings. Secure parking spaces in the vicinity of the pier are included in the price. (A deposit must be made for use of the magnetic parking card).
The 187 rooms are comfortably furnished and equipped with a telephone, satellite TV, bath/toilet and balcony. Seaview position available at surcharge. Single rooms are situated on the parkside and do not have a balcony.
Half board: breakfast and dinner buffet.
Sports: 2 clay tennis courts, bocce lane (a local variety of lawn bowling), miniature golf, pedal boats and canoes.
Beach: around the island there are rock beaches with sunbathing plateaus and some pebbles, partially shaded by the pine trees. Sunbathing chairs and parasols are available for rent. There is also an unofficial nudist beach. Specific areas have been laid with pebbles for childfriendly use.

Boat to the city is free of charge for guests of the hotel. Once a week the hotels offers an excursion of the city, including wine tasting. Drinks free of charge during dinner - red and white wine, beer and soft drinks from the bar.
