Description

The Mirabela has been owned by the Vuković family for many years. At first it was Silvio, who as a captain built up a regular clientele, whereby his older brother Josip stood by him from the beginning. A few years ago, Josip's sons Ante and Luka joined him, and in the summer of 2013 Silvio handed over the responsible role of captain to his nephew Ante, to devote himself to his new ship – the "MY Vita". After only four years, Ante gave the helm to his younger brother Luka to take care of his new ship – the "MY Solaris". Luka has seafaring in his blood just as much as his father Josip, his uncle Silvio and his grandfather Ante. Since 2018 Luka's wife Tea has not only been the boss in the kitchen, but she also takes care of all other wishes and needs of their guests. Be assured that you are in the right hands with Tea and Luka, as both hospitality and seafaring are a tradition of the Vuković family.

General data: Length 25.50 m, built in 1950, renovated in 2005. 26 beds in 11 cabins with shower/toilet and individually controllable air conditioning.

Main deck: 2 twin cabins with bunk beds, 4 triple cabins with queen-size bed and 3rd bed above.
Upper deck: 5 twin cabins with bunk beds.

Other: Sun deck (100 m²) with 14 deck chairs, 2 tables with benches on deck for 18 guests, saloon with air conditioning for 26 guests.

Our cruises are not suitable for persons with disabilities or reduced mobility.

Route

Our captain's routes don't follow a set route. Rather, we leave it to the captain with his many years of experience, to put together an unforgettable cruise week.

A Friday evening in July, aboard the MY Mystic: We asked Captain Arsen how he would organise the Captain's Route from Trogir:

Of course, I don't sail on a fixed route, but also ask my guests what they would like to see. But basically, I avoid overnight stays on the mainland, because it is much quieter on the islands. On the island of Brač I like to go to the cosy fishing village of Postira, in whose harbour we are sometimes the only ship. Or the tranquil place of Milna, which lies in a deeply cut, protected bay. After that, the island of Hvar is usually on the agenda. While in the port of Hvar often up to 30 ships stay overnight at the same time, I choose the small places Jelsa and Vrboska on the northern side of the island. They really have preserved a large part of their originality, and unlike the town of Hvar, the loudspeaker boxes of the cafés and bars do not boom here until the early hours of the morning. And then, of course, there is the "forbidden island“–- Vis. The island was a military restricted area until the end of the 1980s, and foreign visitors were denied entry. This is why mass tourism has never developed here. My first destination on the island is usually the town of Vis with its typical mediterranean hustle and bustle in midsummer, before I head for the smaller town of Komiža, on the other side of the island the next day. And if we are already in Komiža, of course we will not miss the nearby islet of Biševo, where my guests have the opportunity to visit the famous "Blue Cave“ by small boats. Of course, this is not a fixed program, but depends on the wishes of my guests, and of course on the weather.

Exclusive Captain's Route – the insider tip for individualists
The Captain's Route ex Trogir:

* From 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, boarding time in the port of Trogir.
* The port of embarkation for passengers arriving by plane depends on the flight schedule. With transfer booking via I.D. Riva Tours and flight arrival to Split airport until 01:00 pm, embarkation in the port of Trogir is guaranteed. Passengers arriving later will be transferred to the first port of call for embarkation.
* The itinerary is not prescribed, but created by the captain in a flexible way. Considering wheather and sea conditions, he will show you his favourite bays and places.
* At least two nights in sheltered coves and small fishing villages.
* A maximum of three nights in major towns, visited by the route T1, possibly not on the same days as other ships.
* Whenever possible, the group will avoid meeting groups from other boats and sharing overnight locations.

Location

Port of Trogir - Central Dalmatia

One of the most picturesque old towns of Dalmatia. Trogir – about 20 km north of Split, close to the airport. The old town is situated on a small island, which is connected by a bridge to the main land. Another bridge leads from this island to the island of Čiovo, upstream of Trogir. Due to its numerous monuments from all periods, Trogir is also called “Museum City”. It is a great experience to stroll through the narrow alleys during the afternoon or evening time. The massive walls, defence towers, churches, frescoes and vaults are simply astonishing. It is also interesting to take a look into the old back yards. After visiting the museums, treasuries, art collections and old libraries, restaurants, cafés, taverns and the typical Konobas invite you to enjoy a relaxing break. Seget, which is situated right next to Trogir, actually consists of two villages, Seget Donji with its superb stone and gravel beaches, and Seget Gornji, set a few miles away on a mountain, with its ancient stone houses. In short: Trogir and Seget are the ideal combination for a relaxing and exciting vacation.

Sojourn tax and harbour fees are not included in the prices and are payable in cash on board upon embarkation. These are in the 2024 season € 42 per person and week, € 21 for children up to 12 years; in the 2025 season € 49 per person and week, € 24 for children up to 12 years.

Tip recommendation: You will certainly be happy to reward the service crew’s performance with a tip. We recommend an amount from € 70 per cabin and week.
