Between 11:30 and 13:00, embarkation at the port of Zadar. If you are travelling to Zadar in your own car, you can drive to the port between 8:00 and 12:00 at the latest and go directly to your ship. Here you can unload your luggage. Our service team will help you bring your luggage on board, which will initially be stored on deck until the cabins are ready for occupancy at 11:30 a.m. You will then take your car to the parking garage reserved by I.D. Riva Tours and return to the port on foot.
Embarkation and welcome by our tour guide, as well as getting to know the crew and fellow travellers. After lunch on board, we will head for one of the surrounding islands for our first swimming break. In the late afternoon, we will dock at the popular holiday resort of Vodice, with its pretty promenade.
The port of embarkation for air passengers depends on flight times. If you book your flight and transfer through I.D. Riva Tours and arrive at Zadar Airport by 12:00 noon, embarkation in Zadar is guaranteed; if you arrive later, embarkation will take place at the first port of call.
A few miles further south, we leave the Adriatic Sea and turn into the mouth of the Krka River. We sail upstream and anchor in Skradin, just before the famous Krka waterfalls. This is also where the boats depart that take you to the national park. Opportunity to visit 'Skradinski Buk', the longest and probably best-known part of the waterfalls at 800 m. An impressive natural spectacle, as here the Krka falls into the depths in 17 stages with cascades up to 100 m wide. Entrance to the national park including boat transfer €20 (April, May, October) or €40 (June-September), payable on site. After visiting the national park, we head for Šibenik, where we will also spend the night. After a guided tour of the town, there will be time for you to explore on your own and have dinner in one of the restaurants.
We leave Šibenik and return to the Adriatic Sea. We reach idyllic Primošten for a leisurely shore excursion through the narrow streets before setting sail again and, after lunch on board, calling at a bay for a swim break. We then continue on to Split. The evening is free to stroll through the beautiful old town of the Dalmatian capital. Overnight stay in the harbour of Split.
Please note: Due to official regulations and construction work in the port of Split, it may not be possible to call at this port. Alternatively, we will spend the night on the island of Brač, the island of Šolta or in Omiš.
Today we weigh anchor and set course for the island of Drvenik Veli, where we will spend our swimming break in one of the bays. After lunch on board, we start the engine again and head for the quiet, car-free island of Zlarin. In the afternoon, we moor in the small harbour of the fishing village of the same name. Opportunity for dinner in one of Zlarin's restaurants and overnight stay.
A particularly exciting day at sea lies ahead! Today we will be crossing the Kornati National Park with its many islands – the largest and densest collection of islands in the Adriatic Sea, stretching for around 35 kilometres. We will be sailing through this nautical paradise. Along the way, we will drop anchor in one of the idyllic bays for a long swimming break. Our destination today is Telašćica Nature Park, a protected bay that cuts about ten kilometres deep into the island of Dugi Otok. High cliffs and the saltwater lake Mir are only a few minutes' walk from the boat landing stage. Overnight stay in Telašćica Nature Park.
We leave Telašćica Nature Park and stop once more for a swim, this time at the island of Ugljan. Then we drive back to Zadar. On an entertaining guided tour, we learn more about the old town – including the famous sea organ. Free time, opportunity to have dinner in one of the numerous restaurants and overnight stay.
After breakfast, disembarkation by 9:00 a.m.
