Description
The Blue Waves Resort welcomes its guests directly on one of the most beautiful pebble beaches in Malinska. The small, comfortable resort consists of four buildings and offers modern rooms, a modern spa and fitness area and a fantastic pool with sea views. With its Mediterranean architecture and natural colors, the hotel blends harmoniously into the coastal landscape. The quiet location offers the best conditions for relaxing and unwinding.
Facilities: Air-conditioned restaurant with terrace and unique sea view, lobby bar, elevator, fitness room, indoor pool, whirlpool, small wellness area consisting of Finnish sauna, bio-sauna and steam bath. Two freshwater swimming pools, children's pool, sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols (free of charge, limited number) and pool bar (seasonal). In season, entertainment for adults and children, mini club (4-12 years) and children's disco. Live music several times a week in the evening. Parking in the hotel complex for a fee, underground garage for a fee, limited number of free parking spaces available outside the complex. WiFi internet available throughout the hotel (free of charge).
97 rooms: stylishly and modernly furnished with air conditioning, LCD TV, telephone, WiFi internet (free of charge), safe, minibar, bath or shower/WC. Baby crib available free of charge on request, except in the standard rooms.
Standard room: approx. 18 m², with bath/WC, without balcony.
Superior room: approx. 24 m², with shower/WC, desk, sofa, balcony or terrace, some with sea view.
Junior family suite: approx. 30 m², with bathroom/WC, bedroom with double bed and desk, additional living/bedroom with sofa bed (140x190 cm), facing the park.
Superior Family Suite: approx. 57-60 m², with bathroom/WC, two bedrooms each with double bed or two single beds, additional living/bedroom with sofa bed (140x190 cm), balcony or terrace with sea view. Minimum occupancy: 4 full-paying guests.
Catering: Breakfast. Half board bookable for an extra charge.
Sport: Fitness room (for a fee).
Beach: The resort is only separated from the gently sloping pebble beach by the promenade. Sun loungers and parasols for a fee.

Once it was a small fishing village, but today it is a well known tourist centre with many attractions and facilities. Malinska is situated on the western coast of the island of Krk. The Mediterranean climate, numerous beaches and many sunny days make Malinska the ideal place for tourists and have already attracted numerous guests over the past centuries. Malinska was mentioned for the first time in the XV century with the establishment of a mill, after which this place got its name. Many sacral buildings testify to thousands of years of tradition and the rich culture of this area.Some traces of the past still live on in the sounds of the wind instruments known as "sopile". Malinska is an ideal place for those who are searching for a relaxing vacation. There are many restaurants, like the "Plava Terasa", known for its evening entertainment, or the typical "konoba" (tavern), where local culinary specialties like dried ham and cheese can be tasted together with the local island wine -"Vrbnicka Zlahtina ".
