The house, containing four apartments, is located in Funtana. Funtana lies in western Istria, between Poreč (7 km) and Vrsar (4 km), on the peninsula's most rugged coastline, with countless bays and small offshore islands. The small town center is just 300 m from the apartments and offers shops, various restaurants, bars, and cafes. There are numerous excursion options in the surrounding area, such as the Aquapark Aquacolors (approx. 3,5 km) and the popular Dinopark (approx 1 km).

Dogs: Please note that dogs must be registered at the time of booking, stating the breed. The cost is 10 euro per dog per day, and the fee has to be paid directly to the landlord. Number of dogs allowed: 1.

Funtana - Istria

This small fishing village and holiday location is situated on the western coast of Istria, between Vrsar and Porec. This part of the coast offers numerous bays and islands. The landscape is dominated by scenic hills and vineyards, cultivated fields, olive groves and fir and beech forests which stretch down to the sea. The mild Mediterranean climate has an average temperature of 5ºC in January, the coldest month of the year and with 24 ºC in August which is the warmest month of the year. The bathing season lasts from May to October. This mild climate and the proximity to continental Europe have had a strong and positive influence on the progress of tourism. The inhabitants of Funtana and its outskirts began intensively to take up tourism in the sixties, when the coast was extremely attractive. From then they started to built campsites, hotels and private accommodation that will satisfy all the guests who will spend their holidays there. Besides accommodation the inhabitants of Funtana offer numerous restaurants and the typical national "Konobas" with their excellent culinary specialities.
