Description

The 180 villas are situated on their own peninsula in the shade of century-old pine trees, separated from the rest of the Stella Maris Resort, creating a comfortable oasis. The peninsula is car-free; at the entrance to the Stella Maris Resort, villa guests have access to a dedicated parking lot (for a fee of €2 per day). Upon arrival and departure, you and your luggage will be transported from here to the villas and back in small electric vehicles. The Sea Star Festival will take place from May 28–31, 2026. Another special experience is sure to be the ATP tennis tournament “Croatia Open,” which will take place from July 10–19, 2026, at the tennis center adjacent to the resort. During this time, the focus will be on supporting events and parties lasting into the early morning hours.

Facilities: On-site reception, “Aqua Chill Out” complex with freshwater swimming pool and hot tub, lounge chairs, umbrellas, relaxation area, and chill-out terrace with bar. Saltwater swimming pool with children’s pool, café bar, sun terraces, and lounge chairs (free of charge, limited availability). “Ô Grill Restaurant” by the pool, exclusive à la carte restaurant in the villa area, “Al Mare” buffet restaurant, and other restaurants, cafés, bars, and a pizzeria within the resort. A promenade runs along the beach around the peninsula. Entertainment programs (see Stella Maris Resort description). WiFi available throughout the resort (free of charge).

Superior Villa for 2–4 guests: approx. 43 sq. ft., air conditioning, smart TV, telephone, free Wi-Fi, safe, one bedroom with a double bed, living room with a sofa bed (140x180 cm), kitchenette with refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, induction cooktop, toaster, and electric kettle, wine cabinet, minibar, and cocktail bar, dining area, shower/toilet, furnished terrace (approx. 17 sq. ft.) with gas grill and curtains. Baby crib available free of charge upon request.
Superior Villa for 4–6 people: approx. 60 m², air conditioning, Smart TV, telephone, WiFi internet (free), safe, one bedroom with a double bed, one bedroom with two single beds, living room with a sofa bed (140x180 cm), kitchenette with refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, induction cooktop, toaster, and electric kettle, wine cabinet, minibar, and cocktail bar, dining area, two bathrooms with shower/toilet, furnished terrace (approx. 17 m²) with gas grill and curtains. Baby crib available free of charge upon request.

Meals: Room only. A breakfast buffet or half-board with an evening buffet at the "Al Mare" restaurant can be booked for an additional fee.

Sport: The tennis center, featuring 14 clay courts, is located right next to the resort; the resort also offers 3 additional clay courts, table tennis, beach volleyball, scuba diving, jet skis, motorboats, pedal boats, and paddleboats, as well as scooter rentals. A sports hall and soccer field are nearby.

Beach: The newly created rocky and pebble beach, complete with sunbathing areas, runs along the entire length of the peninsula. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available there for a fee.

Pets: Pets are allowed for a fee (€18 per day). Pets are not permitted in the restaurant, at the front desk, or in the pool area, and must be under the owner’s supervision at all times.
On the beaches, they are only allowed in specially designated areas.

Umag - Istria

The legend tells that Umag was named after the Celtic word “mag”, which stands for fertile land. This land and sea has truly always been blessed with everything that nature offers. In olden times Umag used to be the summer residence for the Roman nobles. Some of the ancient glamorous villas in the old town of Umag can still today be admired. Umag has also preserved a part of the old town´s walls and some of it´s beautiful churches, like the church of the Assumption of Virgin Mary and the church of St. Pelegrin. Umag is famous for its Blue Flag rewarded beaches Laguna Stella Maris, Katoro, Aurora and Kanegra. Rewarded with the international prize for the absolute sea clarity, they conquer with their allure and crystal beauty. Umag is best-known as the center of the international ATP tournament since 1990, which is every July home to some of the most famous tennis players from all over the world.
