Description
The new, family-run campsite is located on the Lanterna peninsula, not far from the well-known town of Poreč. Surrounded by pine forests, olive groves and green meadows, it offers a wonderful setting for a relaxing and peaceful family vacation. Santa Marina is one of the first 5-star campsites in Istria and one of the few boutique campsites in Croatia. The special feature of the campsite are the modern and well-equipped mobile homes and glamping tents, which enable a pleasant vacation in the middle of nature without having to forego modern amenities.
Facilities: Reception, safe at reception (for a fee), restaurant, grocery store, bakery, barbecue area with barbecue equipment, children's playground and room, massage studio and laundry (for a fee). Freshwater swimming pool complex with water playground, sun terrace, sun loungers and parasols in the central area of the complex. Two further pools are located in the area of the mobile homes. Miniclub and entertainment for adults and children (seasonal), concierge service. Free parking is available near the mobile homes (200 m). WiFi internet is available free of charge throughout the campsite.
Mobile home "Romantic Suite" for 2 people: Mobile home half with approx. 18 m², one double room with double bed, shower/WC, living area with fully equipped kitchenette (microwave, kettle, coffee machine, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher). Covered terrace (approx. 12 m²) with garden furniture. Also satellite TV, WiFi internet (free of charge) and air conditioning.
Mobile home "Premium Comfort" for 4-5 people: approx. 34 m², one double room with double bed, one double room with two single beds and a bunk bed, two bathrooms with shower/WC, living/dining room with sitting area, dining table and fully equipped kitchenette (microwave, kettle, coffee machine, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher). Covered terrace (approx. 25 m²) with garden furniture. Also satellite TV, WiFi internet (free of charge) and air conditioning.
Mobile home "Premium Family" for 4-5 people: approx. 39 m², one double room with double bed, one double room with two single beds, two bathrooms with shower/WC, living/dining room with sofa (sleeping accommodation for one child), dining table and fully equipped kitchenette (microwave, kettle, coffee machine, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher). Covered terrace (approx. 25 m²) with garden furniture. Also satellite TV, WiFi internet (free of charge) and air conditioning.
Mobile home "Prestige Family" for 6 people: approx. 34 m², one double room with double bed, two double rooms with two single beds each, two bathrooms with shower/WC, living/dining room with sofa, dining table and fully equipped kitchenette (microwave, kettle, coffee machine, fridge with freezer, dishwasher). Covered terrace (approx. 25 m²) with garden furniture. Also satellite TV, WiFi internet (free of charge) and air conditioning.
Glamping tent "Safari" for 4-5 people: approx. 34 m² (including terrace), one double room with double bed, one double room with two single beds and a bunk bed, shower/WC, living/dining area with seating, dining area and fully equipped kitchenette (microwave, kettle, coffee machine, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher). Partly covered terrace. Also satellite TV, WiFi internet (free of charge) and air conditioning.
Glamping tent "Country" for 6 people: approx. 41 m² (including terrace), one double room with double bed, one double room with two single beds, one double room with two bunk beds, shower/WC, dining area with dining set and fully equipped kitchenette (microwave, kettle, coffee machine, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher). Covered terrace with seating area. Also satellite TV, WiFi internet (free of charge) and air conditioning.
Sport: Beach volleyball, table tennis, multifunctional sports field, bike rental.
Beach: The family-friendly pebble and stone beach, which is mainly used by the campsite guests, is approx. 800 m away. The quiet bay can be reached on foot, by bike or with the campsite's electric car shuttle.
Pets: not allowed.
Note: No deposit required. Bed linen and towels included on arrival, change on request and for a fee (bed linen for the double bed €19, single bed €13, towel set €10). Final cleaning included in the price. Please bring your own tea towels. Tourist tax (approx. € 1.50 per person per day) and registration fee (one-off € 1.50 per person) payable on site. Tents are not permitted.

Poreč - Istria
Porec is the main tourist centre of Istria, situated in the central part of Istria’s west coast. Its history has ancient origins and all the people who have dominated here have left indelible traces, like the Jupiter temple from Roman times, the Roman house and the house of the two holy ones from the Romanesque period. Many Gothic buildings are constructed in the Venetian style as well as other cultural monuments. The best known monument in Porec is for certain the Eufrasian Basilica, from the VI century, where there are conserved some wonderful mosaics of the Byzantine age and which in 1997 was inscribed on the World Heritage List under the protection of UNESCO. The beginnings of tourism date back to the XIX century, but the largest developments were made in the middle of the 60's and at the beginning of the 70's, continuing up to the end of the 20th century. Today, Porec is a celebrated tourist location, with countless facilities for those who love activity vacations ashore or on the sea, but also for lovers of culture, families with children and above all for young people, who can pass pleasant moments in the innumerable bars in the historic town centre. The hinterland offers wine trails, possibilities to rent country houses, medieval small towns and only 8 km away, the opportunity to visit the most well known cave in Istria at Baredine.Excursions available: Venice, Plitvice Lakes National Park, Brijuni National Park, canoe safari, jeep safari, “Fish Picnic” boat excursion, visit to the city of Pula, Istria tour, visit to the Postojna coves in Slovenia, the famous Lipizzaner stud farm, Zagreb and many more.
