Rabac - Istria
The small holiday town of Rabac is situated right below the town of Labin (320 m above sea level), in a small bay with a beautiful gravel beach and a magnificent view over the island of Cres and across the gulf of Kvarner. At the end of the XIX century Rabac welcomed its first tourists. They arrived in the small port by steamships, organized by the agency "Lloyd" of Trieste. They came to visit Istria and the Kvarner bay. Since the beginning of the XX century Rabac has held the status of a popular summer resort. The development of tourism, as we know today, began in the 60’s and 70’s. Today several comfortable hotels and campsites offer high quality infrastructure and facilities to their guests. Thanks to the beautiful beaches and the clean and calm sea, Rabac is the place to be for a pleasant family vacation. Only 5 km away, in Labin, it is possible to visit an interesting mine museum with one mineshaft open to visitors. Furthermore you can explore the art galleries and studios located in the historic town centre or visit one of the cafes and restaurants, or you can simply enjoy the breathtaking view over Rabac, the island of Cres and the Kvarner bay. If you would like to learn more about the country and meet the locals, then you should visit the hinterland and its typical country houses.Price for all persons
