Cozy holiday home with 2 bedrooms and large garden, only 1,1 km from the Plitvice Lakes National Park

This house accommodates up to five guests. Situated in the small village Rastovača, that is part of the Plitvice Lakes municipality, it is conveniently located just 1,1 km from one of the park's entrances. The surrounding area is perfect for leisurely walks or cycling excursions. A restaurant can be found about 1,1 km away.

House for 5 persons: approx. 90 m² on two floors. On the ground floor you can find a kitchen including dinette, a living room with woodstove, and a bathroom with bathtub. Steep corkscrew stairs lead to the upper floor (attic), comprising one double bedroom, a triple bedroom and a bathroom with shower. The air conditioning is located in the staircase area and cools the living room or the attic, depending on the setting. The house is equipped with central heating.

Further details: WiFi available free of charge. Breakfast is bookable on site (approx. 10 euros per person) and will be served at House "Anna", approx. 700 metres away – please inform your hosts upon arrival if you would like to have breakfast.

This little house was an absolutely perfect base for our three day visit to the area for our family of four. Easy to find and conveniently located just off the main road past entrance 1 for the Plitvice Lakes, however at the very end of a quiet residential cul-de-sac surrounded by nature. A lovely garden to relax in with just enough space to play a bit of frisbee. Old fashioned alpine-hut vibe inside. Comfy bedrooms with shuttered windows for keeping it cool inside when it's hot outside. Well eqipped kitchen, which includes a dishwasher and window which opens onto the garden. Two bathrooms, one with a bath and a washing machine. Lovely helpful hosts and in an amazing part of Croatia with lots to see. Highly recommend House Milan. Thanks for a great stay xx

Modeste maison de campagne très bien située à côté du parc. Milan est très agréable et très serviable . Mais attention de bien prendre son numéro car l’agence gère tellement de logements qu’ils tapent en touche constamment .

Cozy little cottage!! Spiral staircase is a bit challenging to navigate with luggage. One AC unit in the stairwell is surprisingly effective and we stayed cool ! Clean, basic,safe, no issues! We would definitely book again !!

The hosts were wonderful and gracious and the house was perfect for us. Upon arrival we were greeted at the unit and given helpful info about the Plitvice National Park that was accurate and saved us a lot of time. It was close enough to walk to the park entrance (about 25 min) if you want to. The kitchen, laundry washer, and air conditioner were all used and were just what we needed after hiking through the park. Highest recommendation to Milan and Anna and their place!

We had a great time. The place is as it is described on the listing. Clean and functional. Our host was great, friendly and responsive. Flexible on checkin time. Allowed us to park in his garden in the morning to make the walls to entrance 1 merely 10min. The garden is big so kids can play. We recommend.

The location of this adorable cottage cannot be beat; we walked to and from Entrance 1 of Plitvice Park with ease. The cottage itself was comfortable and we slept very soundly (although those with vertigo or fear of heights may have issue with the winding stairs leading to the bedrooms). It was wonderful hanging out on the porch and snacking on the apples and grapes plucked from nearby trees. Would not hesitate to re-book again!

Great location in relation to Plitvicka Lakes (park the car for free near the complex entrance, fees at the National Park are exorbitant, or walk the 1.9km) and in a pleasant, quiet farmland like village setting, but basic facilities. Bedrooms upstairs a challenge to reach via the steep, spiral staircase. definitely not for those with mobility issues.

There are so many positives about this place which made it a lovely place to stay. It is within walking distance of entrance 1 to Plitvice and was so quiet it was a very relaxing place to stay. The grounds are lovely to spend some time in and out granddaughter had a lovely time playing in the garden. Unfortunately there were a few things which made us not rate it as 5 star. The steps leading up to the first floor are ridiculously steep that it is just like climbing a ladder to get up to the bedrooms. They are not suitable for young children or people with mobility issues and this should really be made clear on the listing. There are the basic amenities but it lacks a kettle! It could really do with a spruce up and some of the furniture replacing as the sofas down stairs are really uncomfortable. However we were just there for two nights so these didn't cause us to many issues and we still enjoyed our stay there.

Voyage bien organisé par l'agence et accueil très gentil des hôtes même si les échanges sont restés limités car ils parlent presque exclusivement le croate. La maison et son jardinet sont très mignons à l'extérieur avec une petite terrasse très agréable. A l'intérieur, la distribution est très bien faite et la maison est espacieuse. L'escalier qui monte aux étages est étroite et compliquée. A éviter avec des petits enfants. La décoration est un peu viellote mais l'implantation de la maison est parfaite pour pouvoir visiter les lacs sans prendre sa voiture.

La maison a une décoration très rustique et un escalier en colimaçon vraiment raide qui ne conviendra pas à de petits enfants par exemple. Notre famille étant constituée de deux adolescentes cela n’a posé aucun problème. Pas de machine à laver non plus c’est un peu dommage. La localisation est parfaite pour aller visiter le parc de Plitvice (à moins de 10 minutes à pied entre l’entrée 1 et la maison des hôtes qui nous ont gentiment proposé d’y laisser la voiture) Je recommande !

We were driving from Germany to Dubrovnik, Croatia and we were only in the area for a couple days, stopping to see Plitvice Lakes and to take a break from driving. This was a great house that was very close to the Entrance number 1 of Plitvice Lakes National Park..... which is also the entrance you want to go to to see the lower Lakes. The house was nice, clean and quiet. It was just a short drive to the market and restaurants from the house. For a visit to Plitvice Lakes we couldn’t have asked for more. We would stay here again if we ever come back to the area.

We were only in the house to sleep after arriving late and then rushing back out to see Plitvice before it rained. We had a little trouble contacting the property manager when we first arrived to gain entrance into the home since we couldn't make a phonecall with our US phones, but we found a nice local who called for us. We liked how the house wasn't too far from the park entrance and we wish we had more time to enjoy the table on the front porch.

Amazing location close to Plitvice National Park. The house was clean and cozy and we enjoyed having the wood stove to heat the place. I didn’t realize the house was apart of a rental community but it was fine. I didn’t receive an email or message regarding the check in procedures and I had to reach out.

It's a very cozy apartment, perfect location... Walking distance from the lakes and the owner gave us great advices from the surrounding areas. Don't forget to bring shampoo, soap and everything you need to cook (oil, napkins, butter, etc.)
