Situated in a sheltered bay, just a few minutes from the picturesque coastal town of Vrsar and on the edge of the Petalon resort, the cozy "Porto Sole" campsite offers everything you need for a relaxing family vacation by the sea. The leisure, entertainment and, above all, sports facilities offer the best conditions for an eventful and active vacation at the campsite.
Facilities: Reception, pizzeria, café bar, cocktail and pool bar, supermarket, children's playground, freshwater swimming pool with children's pool and sun loungers (for a fee, limited number), mini club (children aged 4-11), entertainment program and workshops for adults and children (seasonal). Slipway and free parking available at the resort.
Mobile home "Standard" for 4-6 people: approx. 32 m², modern furnishings, one bedroom with double bed, one bedroom with two single beds, living room/bedroom with kitchenette (stove with 4 hobs, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, filter coffee machine) and sleeping accommodation for two people (pull-out seating area 140 x 200 cm), two bathrooms with shower/WC, covered terrace with seating and deckchairs for 4 people. WiFi Internet available in the mobile home (free of charge). Also SAT-TV and air conditioning.
Mobile home "Superior" for 4-6 people: approx. 35 m², modern furnishings, one bedroom with double bed, one bedroom with two single beds, living room/bedroom with kitchenette (stove with 4 hobs, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, filter coffee machine) and sleeping accommodation for two people (pull-out seating area 130 x 190 cm), two bathrooms with shower/WC, covered terrace with seating and sun loungers for 4 people. WiFi internet available in the mobile home (free of charge). Also SAT-TV and air conditioning.
Sport: 10 clay and 2 color-set tennis courts with tennis school, multi-purpose court (basketball, volleyball, soccer, handball, badminton), bicycle and sports equipment rental, minigolf, diving school, Nordic walking, pedal boats and various water sports.
Beach: The 1 km long concrete, rock and pebble beach with sunbathing areas and beach showers is approx. 50-250 m from the mobile homes. Sun loungers and parasols are available for a fee. The beach has been awarded the "Blue Flag", which stands for a clean, well-kept coastal area with excellent water quality. There is also a designated dog beach.
Pets: allowed for a fee (10 € per day).
Note: No deposit required. Final cleaning, visitor's tax, registration fee, bed linen (change once a week) and towels (change twice a week) included. Please bring your own tea towels. Extra tent not allowed.

Vrsar - Istria
Vrsar, the old OrseraOne of the most beautiful Istrian towns is located on a hill overlooking the mouth of sheer natural beauty, the Lim bay, and is easily recognized for the yellow coloured Bishops’ castle on the hilltop. The breathtaking view from the hill spreads over the 18 green islets laying on the sunkissed blue sea. The town was named after the ancient word "ur", which means source and refers to the source of the famous Istrian rock, which was for centuries mined by the different residents of the town. Nowadays their efforts can be admired in the cobbled streets with marvelous pebbled buildings decorated with stone figures, balconies and roofs. Another special treasure of Vrsar, for centuries, has been the production of salt.
In the olden days this wonderful place was also enjoyed by the world-famous Venetian lover Giacomo Casanova who did not only write about women and wine but also mentioned the special appeal of the Istrian peninsula, especially of Vrsar. The old fishing town was also famous for being the Bishop’s summer residence and also for the important quarry in Roman times, the Montraker. Later on, in modern times, Vrsar becomes a more and more popular vacation destination with high-quality hotels, modern holiday resorts and a wide range of amenities for visitors looking for a peaceful, relaxing vacation combined with fun and activities, be it ashore or in the crystal-clear waters of the Croatian Adriatic Sea. Once a place for ancient sailors to rest, is today an oasis that pampers your soul with its beauty and pleasure.
