Description
The sprawling resort consists of the “Amfora Plava Laguna****” and “Stella Plava Laguna***” apartment complexes, as well as the “Istrian Villas Plava Laguna****,” which are located on their own peninsula, separate from the rest of the resort.
Facilities: "Stella Maris" buffet restaurant, several à la carte restaurants, snack bars, pizzeria, café-bars. Info Point, ATM, first-aid station, safe at the front desk (for a fee, €3 per day), children’s playgrounds, supermarket. Water park with a seawater swimming pool featuring a children’s pool, along with lounge chairs and umbrellas (limited availability, free of charge), a small marina (fee applies) with a boat ramp. Lounge chairs and umbrellas on the beach available for a fee. Entertainment program (mid-June to early September) featuring daytime, sports, and evening activities for adults; children’s entertainment – “Pepi Club Baby” (8 months to 4 years), “Pepi Club Kids and Junior” (5 to 13 years), “Teens Club” (14 to 17 years; late June to late August). Evening entertainment program with music (July through August, except during the period July 10–19, 2026). In the immediate vicinity of the resort are cocktail bars with open-air events lasting into the early morning hours. The Sea Star Festival takes place from May 28–31, 2026, and the “Croatia Open” tennis tournament from July 10–19, 2026—guests should expect loud parties, especially during these times. Unattended parking spaces directly in front of the apartment buildings are available for a fee (€2 per day).

Baby crib available free of charge upon request in all categories.
Meals: accommodation only; breakfast buffet or half-board with dinner buffet available for an additional fee.
Sport: The tennis center, featuring 14 clay courts, is located right next to the resort; the resort also offers 3 additional clay courts, table tennis, beach volleyball, scuba diving, jet skis, motorboats, pedal boats, and paddleboats, as well as scooter rentals. There is a sports hall and a soccer field nearby.
Beach: A rocky beach with stone areas runs around the resort—but the most popular spot is the man-made “lagoon” with its gently sloping gravel beach. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available for a fee. The beach is 50–250 meters away, depending on your accommodation.
Pets: Dogs and cats are allowed (for a fee; €18 per day). Pets are not permitted in the restaurant, at the front desk, or in the pool area, and must be under the owner’s supervision at all times.
On the beaches, they are only allowed in specially designated areas.

The legend tells that Umag was named after the Celtic word “mag”, which stands for fertile land. This land and sea has truly always been blessed with everything that nature offers. Rewarded with the international prize for the absolute sea clarity, they conquer with their allure and crystal beauty.
