The Family Hotel Amarin is located on a green peninsula, approx. 4 km from the old town of Rovinj. Specially designed for families with children, it offers comfortable accommodation, two well-tended pebble beaches, numerous amenities and a colorful entertainment program for children.

Facilities: Buffet restaurant with show cooking and special children's buffet and baby corner, aperitif bar, two à la carte restaurants (open from approx. 15.06. to 01.09.), snack bar, hairdressing salon, newspaper kiosk, children's cinema room. Indoor pool with three pools and three whirlpools, spacious swimming pool complex with several pools, heated baby pool, lazy river and pool bar. Sun loungers, parasols and towels (free of charge, limited number). Several outdoor children's playgrounds, several indoor playrooms for children of different ages. A special feature of the hotel is also the unique "Amarin Kids Program", with age-appropriate activities (divided into 4 age groups) that encourage children's curiosity, freedom, creativity, imagination and individuality. Babysitting service available on request (for a fee). Free parking spaces. WiFi internet available throughout the hotel (free of charge). Shuttle bus connection for hotel guests to the old town (01.06.-30.09., for a fee).

280 rooms: modern and comfortably furnished, all rooms offer air conditioning, Smart TV, WiFi internet (free of charge), safe, minibar and bath or shower/WC. Baby equipment available free of charge on prior request and subject to availability (crib, children's toilet seat, potty, diaper bin, changing table, baby bath, step stool, bottle warmer, kettle, bathrobe, etc.).

Premium family room: approx. 56-59 m², one standard room with 1 extra bed and one standard room with 2 extra beds with connecting door.
Grand room: approx. 34-37 m², two single beds (110x210 cm each) and a sofa bed (160x200 cm), shower/WC, balcony facing the sea.
Grand Family Room: approx. 68-74 m², consisting of two Grand Rooms with connecting door.
Amarin Suite: approx. 44 m², one large double bed (180x210 cm) and a sofa bed (160x200 cm), shower/WC and balcony facing the sea.

Catering: Full board with breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet including mineral water and juices from the vending machine at mealtimes.

Beach: The pebble beaches with sunbathing areas are approx. 50 m away. Sun loungers, parasols and towels are free of charge for hotel guests.

Rovinj - Istria

Rovinj, the most romantic town in Istria, is also known as one of the most picturesque towns on the Mediterranean. It is situated on the western coast of the Istrian peninsula, on the south of the Lim canal. Rovinj was developed on a small island, which was connected to the mainland during the Middle age. It has a history of more than 1700 years and it is marked by the changes of many different rulers: Byzantines, Goths, Venetians, Austrians and others. Each of them has left traces in the architecture of the historical town, dominated by the St. Euphemia’s church from the XVIII century, built in baroque style. The bell tower is one of the tallest in Istria and is similar to the bell tower of the St. Marcus church in Venice. That might be one of the reasons why Rovinj is also called “little Venice”. A must to visit is the “street of artists” – Grisia, where numerous art galleries of academic artists, who found inspiration for their work in Rovinj, can be found.
The development of tourism started in the 1970’s, when numerous hotels were built. Changes in the market through the years have changed Rovinj which today caters for individual tourists and families, who find accommodation in the various hotels and tourist settlements such as Amarin or Villas Rubin.
