Hotel Spongiola

Description

The newly built Hotel Spongiola is located on the coast of the small, picturesque island of Krapanj, only about 300 m from the mainland, and is surrounded by a beautiful pine forest. It was built on the site of an old sponge divers' cooperative and houses a modern diving center. During the season, taverns, bars, and shops in the small town center of Krapanj invite visitors to linger. The island has been known for centuries for its sponge divers, who "harvest" natural sponges from the seabed.

Facilities: Restaurant, beach bar, room service (for a fee), heated indoor pool, fitness studio. The hotel has a marina for up to 25 boats. Free parking in Brodarica on the mainland, free boat transfer from the mainland to the hotel and vice versa between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. This means you can also visit the mainland during your stay, for example to go on excursions.

23 rooms: luxuriously and classically furnished with air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, WiFi internet (free of charge), safe, minibar, and hairdryer, bathroom with shower/WC. Baby cot available on request (for a fee of €10 per day).
Double room: approx. 27 m², large double bed (180x200 cm), also available with balcony overlooking the park.
Triple room: approx. 27 m², large double bed (180x200 cm), additional bed (120x200 cm), also available with balcony with island view.
Suite: approx. 59 m², double bed (180x200 cm), separate living room with dining area and pull-out sofa bed for 2 additional people (160x200 cm), balcony or terrace with sea view.

Breakfast buffet. Half board or full board à la carte available at an additional cost.

Sport: The modern diving center "Mediterraneo Sub" with diving school offers diving equipment for hire and various diving excursions. Kayaks, bicycles, and windsurf boards are also available for hire for a fee.

Beach: Parasols and sun loungers (limited number), as well as beach towels on the private pebble beach included.

Pets: Only permitted upon request (for a fee of €35 per day).

Wellness-center: Use of the heated indoor pool and fitness center is free of charge for hotel guests. Jacuzzi and sauna, as well as massages and treatments, are available for a fee.
