Description

This comfortable hotel consists of the main building, the Residence (located 50 meters across the street), and the Garden Suites Umag, and is situated in the Punta resort area. The Garden Suites are located directly on the seafront and offer comfortable, modern accommodations. All facilities at the neighboring Hotel Umag are also available to guests of the Garden Suites.

Facilities of the hotel: Lobby with reception and aperitif bar, buffet restaurant with show cooking, à la carte restaurant "León d'Or", café terrace with bar, hair salon, ATM, freshwater swimming pool with separate children's pool, bar, lounge chairs, and umbrellas (included in the price, limited availability), indoor freshwater pool (closed from mid-June to mid-September). Evening entertainment program with theme nights, shows, and live music (late May to early September). Children’s entertainment at the mini-club for children aged 5–12 from late May to early September. Separate building with a meeting center for conferences and workshops for 20 to 100 people. Storage room for bicycles. Parking available for a fee (€2 per day). Internet corner available (free of charge), Wi-Fi available in the lobby and reception area (free of charge). Room service available. “Punta Pool” swimming pool complex for guests of the Umag and Sipar hotels. In addition to three pools with a sun deck and lounge chairs, a spray park, game room, summer cinema, and children’s playground, a colorful entertainment program with age-appropriate activities for children and adults is offered.

A total of 54 rooms and suites: The Garden Suites Umag Plava Laguna are located in 11 two-story buildings. All accommodations feature air conditioning/heating, satellite TV, telephone, free WiFi, minibar, safe, bathroom, and a balcony or terrace. Baby crib available free of charge upon request.
Superior Family Room:
approx. 27 m² on the ground floor or first floor, modern and comfortably furnished, one double bed or two single beds, additional sofa bed (140x200 cm) for two children or one adult, bathroom with shower and toilet, balcony or terrace facing the park.
Superior Suite: approx. 32 m² on the ground floor or first floor, modern and comfortably furnished, one bedroom with a double bed or two single beds, separate living room with a pull-out couch (140x200 cm) for up to two children, bathroom with shower and toilet, balcony or terrace overlooking the park.

Meals: Breakfast buffet. Half-board with an evening buffet featuring show cooking is available for an additional fee. Meals are served at the Hotel Umag.

Sport – included: Use of the fitness room, daily fitness program for adults featuring Pilates, yoga, and aqua aerobics (July and August).
Sports available for a fee: The nearby Punta Sports Center (100 m) features 8 tennis courts, bike rentals, and beach volleyball. Sailing, surfing, and diving are also available.

Beach: The rocky beach, which features sunbathing areas and a partially sandy seabed, as well as showers, a beach bar, lounge chairs, and umbrellas (free of charge, limited availability), is 30–100 meters away through the park.

Pets: Pets are allowed for a fee (€18 per day). Pets are not permitted in the restaurant, at the front desk, or in the pool area, and must be under the owner’s supervision at all times.
On the beaches, they are only allowed in specially designated areas.

Wellness-center: “Istrian Relax Village”: This wellness center, decorated in the Istrian style, spans 1,600 square meters across two floors. In addition to three whirlpools, massage services, a relaxation room, and a fitness room, it also features a Finnish, a Roman, and an Istrian bio-sauna. There is also a beauty center offering various beauty treatments and services, such as scrubs with sea minerals, Cleopatra’s mud bath, and various massages. All services are available for a fee.

Extras included: When booking half-board for stays between late April and late September, drinks with dinner are included in the price—soft drinks, local beer, and wine from the dispenser.

Umag - Istria

The legend tells that Umag was named after the Celtic word “mag”, which stands for fertile land. This land and sea has truly always been blessed with everything that nature offers. In olden times Umag used to be the summer residence for the Roman nobles. Some of the ancient glamorous villas in the old town of Umag can still today be admired. Umag has also preserved a part of the old town´s walls and some of it´s beautiful churches, like the church of the Assumption of Virgin Mary and the church of St. Pelegrin. Umag is famous for its Blue Flag rewarded beaches Laguna Stella Maris, Katoro, Aurora and Kanegra. Rewarded with the international prize for the absolute sea clarity, they conquer with their allure and crystal beauty. Umag is best-known as the center of the international ATP tournament since 1990, which is every July home to some of the most famous tennis players from all over the world.
