Description
Captain Duje Tomaš comes from a family with a long maritime tradition. The company was founded by his great-grandfather Marin and later continued by his father Jure. Since 1998, Jure had been an integral part of our fleet with the MS Planka. In 2016, the family decided to build a new, modern ship – the MS Aria. Duje completed his studies and worked as a consultant in sustainable development and tourism. Eventually, he was drawn back to his family's roots. His passion for the sea and tradition motivated him to bring his experience directly aboard the MS Aria. Today, the ship is run by Duje and his brother, who show you the most beautiful sides of the Kvarner Bay. The name "Aria," which comes from the Dalmatian dialect, means "weather" and reflects the family's connection to the Adriatic.
General data: Length 43.50 m, built in 2016, renovated in 2025. 36 beds in 17 cabins with shower/toilet, hair dryer and individually controllable air conditioning.
In 2026, the ship departs from and returns to Rijeka. From 2027, her cruises will start and end in Zadar.
Lower deck: 2 triple cabins with separate beds and 3rd
bed above, 2 twin cabins with separate beds which can be made up to
double beds if desired*, 4 double cabins with queen-size bed. The lower
deck is provided with an air ventilation system, which ensures fresh air
even if the portholes are closed.
Main deck: 5 double cabins with queen-size bed.
Upper deck: 4 twin cabins with separate beds which can be made up to double beds if desired*.
* Please let us know if you prefer two separate beds or a double bed at the time of booking, so that we can make sure that the beds are arranged according to your wishes before you embark.
Other: Two sun decks (290 m² in total) with 36 sun loungers and reefable awnings, tables with benches and chairs for 36 people on the covered main deck right behind the saloon, bathing platform with showers at the stern, air conditioned saloon for 36 guests. New: Whirlpool for up to 6 people (size 2.20 m × 2.20 m, height 1.07 m). Sauna for up to 2 people (size: width 1.35 m, height 2.00 m, depth 1.20 m).

In order to make this possible also for our guests who book their cruises individually, and not as part of a charter group, we have listened to the proposals of our guests and captains and offer special Captains’ Tours, following the motto – “Let’s trust the captain – he will put together an interesting route for us, because ultimately, he knows the sea and the Croatian islands best!”
Exclusive Captain's Route – the insider tip for individualists
* From 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, boarding time in the port of Zadar.
* The port of embarkation for passengers arriving by plane depends on the flight schedule. With transfer booking via I.D. Riva Tours and flight arrival to Zadar airport until 12:00 noon, embarkation in the port of Zadar is guaranteed. Passengers arriving later will be transferred to the first port of call for embarkation.
* The itinerary is not prescribed, but created by the captain in a flexible way. Considering wheather and sea conditions, he will show you his favourite bays and places.
* At least two nights in sheltered coves and small fishing villages.
* A maximum of three nights in major towns, visited by the route Z2, possibly not on the same days as other ships.
* Whenever possible, the group will avoid meeting groups from other boats and sharing overnight locations.

Rijeka is the third largest city in Croatia and the largest and most important seaport of the country. Rijeka is just a few hours by car from central Europe – public transportation (bus and train) depart from several countries on a daily base. The airport is located 30 kilometres outside Rijeka on the island of Krk. The city centre is close to the harbour and offers fantastic shopping opportunities, plus a number of cultural monuments and many places of interest. There is plenty of evening entertainment along the harbour road, the “Riva”.Port of Zadar
The inhabitants of Zadar proudly call their city: “Najlipši grad na svitu” (“The most beautiful city in the world”). The former capital of Dalmatia is situated on a peninsula bordered by two “Rivas”. The side facing the mainland is simply called “Riva” – here ferries and passenger ships anchor and fishermen bring their catch ashore every morning. On the other side, facing the island, lays the “New Riva” – the perfect setting to stroll along the waterfront, where lovers meet for their rendezvous; since a few years, it is the only place in the world, where you can listen to the unique melodies of the Sea Organs. Embedded between the Rivas, you will discover one of the most beautiful old towns in Dalmatia. The traffic-free main street (called “Kalelarga”), with its boutiques and cafes, is the lifeline of the city. On both sides of the street, you will find picturesque alleys in which the “Klapa” intone their songs of sheer joy. Magnificent historical buildings, such as the circular church of St. Donat, the Cathedral of Sveta Stošija, the Roman Forum and many other fascinating places are waiting to be discovered!Sojourn tax and harbour fees are not included in the prices and are payable in cash on board upon embarkation. These are € 49 per person and week, € 24 for children up to 12 years.
Tip recommendation: You will certainly be happy to reward the service crew’s performance with a tip. We recommend an amount from € 80 per person and week.
